Welcoming guests once more

June 29, 2020

The Scottish Government has eased restrictions on tourism accommodation from July 15th and we are delighted to be welcoming guests to the Bunkrooms once more.  We have availability for new bookings from Tuesday August 25th for whole cottage only, to accommodate social distancing. The minimum stay is 2 nights and we have flexible rates from two - eight people who will have the bunkrooms to themselves. Click here to book and check prices>

Although Mull is now welcoming visitors, normality has not yet returned to the Island. Some attractions will not be open, and our local pub, the Keel Row will only be offering takeaway on some evenings. However, something that hasn't changed is our beaches and coastlines, which are as idyllic as ever; for those looking forward to lots of open space, fresh air and outdoor freedom. The ferry to Iona is running a normal service, with restricted numbers, so a day out on this idyllic island is still available for those seeking peace and tranquillity. Have a look at our page that lists the beaches on the Ross of Mull and Iona to inspire you!  The people of Mull have been spared Coronavirus infections or deaths and some are therefore nervous of visitors arriving from the mainland. We are asking our guests to be sensitive in their movements around the islands, continue to follow all Scottish Government guidelines and socially distance. We are able to help in getting provisions and other necessities delivered and provide advice on how to ensure your own safety and that of others.

With regards to travelling to Mull, be aware that the Oban - Craignure ferry has less capacity due to social distancing and both cars and foot passengers must book in advance on a rolling 2 week system from the date of sailing. Fishnish-Lochaline and Tobermory – Kilchoan ferries remain as turn-up-and-go on a normal service, with people able to remain in their cars during the crossing.

We have been very busy ensuring all protocols are in place to provide a safe place for our guests and providing information for an enjoyable stay despite the restrictions. Please get in touch if you have any queries before booking at Enable JavaScript to view protected content.
